Cocobearshop.com was established in Cleveland, OH in 2023 after I was laid off from a big online retail company. As a young adult, I had very sensitive skin that reacted badly to the chemicals in lotion, often causing breakouts due to clogged pores. I discovered that using shea butter and baby oil as an alternative was much better for my skin. This led me to explore the benefits of natural oils and different kinds of shea butter, learning their vitamin supplements and protective properties.
During my time living in an apartment, I had the space and opportunity to experiment and create my own skincare product. This led to the development of my favorite basic formula: shea butter, mineral oil, castor oil, and coconut oil, which became “CocoBear – unscented body butter”!
My goal was to produce a skincare product suitable for all skin types, using all-natural ingredients. With these four all-natural components, your skin can receive the treatment it needs without the use of color dyes, scents, and other harmful chemicals. Importantly, this product has never been tested on animals and is safe for external skin application.
Cocobearshop.com is a startup company, and this product is made with a lot of love from my home. We will initially sell small batches in 2oz and 6oz jars, with plans to release new products as we grow.
